 Course Description:

This is an online teacher
license renewal course.   Genetics Case Studies  for Educators is designed to review common genetic disorders and examine them more  
closely.  Teachers will access  
scientific Internet databases to
develop a better understanding of
these disorders and diseases. 
They will then complete a lesson
plan incorporating what they
have learned into a classroom unit. 
This course serves those
students, who are interested in
learning more about genetic
diseases; how they are inherited,
frequency of inheritance, their
symptoms, and proposed
treatments.
