Course Description

This is a four unit course  that surveys the effects of aging on specific body systems as they relate to homeostasis.  Cellular changes as well as social views that effect longevity and quality of life will be examined.  Students will access online resources to develop a lesson plan relating to the biological or sociological aspects of this topic.  Upon completion of this course, each student will have a portfolio of  website links and lessons to use in the classroom. A final project is due the last week of class.
